Welcome to the Quarterdeck Lounge
The Quarterdeck Guest Lounge is a new space, replacing the waterfront bistro in 2022. After careful consideration, this remodel provided our in-house guests a dedicated area to relax and unwind. The Quarterdeck doubles as the main reception area, where our knowledgeable staff are on hand to offer their advice on the local area, and can assist with booking activities and excursions to make your stay in this wonderful area a truly special experience.
Ideally situated on the water’s edge, this space provides a quiet spot to lose yourself in the beauty and seclusion of our unique location. Enjoy the best of the Marlborough Sounds and catch the afternoon sun, while enjoying a barista coffee or beautiful glass of crisp Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. Pair with a charcuterie platter, which are available at the Quarterdeck, separate from the main lunch service is at the Kumatage Restaurant.
Casual day visitors are also welcomed to the Quarterdeck Lounge, with no reservation required. This space is available to enjoy daily, perfect for a morning coffee overlooking the bay, or an afternoon glass of Marlborough’s finest with a charcuterie platter.
