This will be a soul stirring and magical experience from the moment you are welcomed with a traditional Italian cocktail at the jetty, until you leave with a lilting aria to inspire your journey home.
Enjoy your Friday night dinner from our extensive main menu, accompanied by wonderful musical highlights from our guest stars. Saturday promises something even more special: Executive Chef, Hannes Bareiter, will serve a traditional 'long Italian lunch' with matching wines This will feature fine operatic performances to add flavour to the specially prepared courses. Morag McDowell, soprano
Morag is a member of Auckland Chamber Choir, Viva Voce and a current Resident Artist, Freemasons Opera Scholar and member of the Chapman Tripp Chorus for The NBR New Zealand Opera. In 2011, Morag covered Atalanta in The NBR New Zealand Opera's production of Xerxes. In 2012, she will appear as The Page (Auckland) in Rigoletto and understudy Esmeralda in The Bartered Bride for the Company.

Graduated Master of Laws and Bachelor of Arts (English Lit) from Auckland University. Roles include Bridesmaid: The Marriage of Figaro, Marguérite Dumènil: The Opera Ball, Lucia (cover): Lucia di Lammermoor, Queen of the Night (cover): The Magic Flute, First Nymph: Acis and Galatea (NBRNZO); Adina: Elixir of Love (Opera Hawkes Bay); Galatea (SMCO); Belinda: Dido and Aeneas, Britannia: King Arthur (Boutique Opera). Oratorio engagements include Mozart's Mass in C minor, the Lloyd Webber Requiem, Handel's Messiah, Schubert's Mass in G, the Vivaldi Gloria, the Bach Magnificat, and Mendelssohn's Hear My Prayer.

Emma Roxburgh, soprano
Emma understudied Susanna (The Marriage of Figaro) and Romilda (Xerxes) for The NBR New Zealand Opera in 2010 and 2011. This year, Emma will understudy Jane Mason and sing the role of Settler in the Company's premiere production of Jenny McLeod's Hohepa for the New Zealand International Arts Festival.

Completed BMus (Hons) in voice at Otago University; Graduate Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester; current Resident Artist, Freemasons Opera Scholar and member of the Chapman Tripp Opera Chorus of The NBR New Zealand Opera; Emma's performance experience includes Ramiro: La Finta Giardiniera (Opera Unleashed), Susanna (cover): The Marriage of Figaro, Hortense: The Opera Ball, Jano: Jenůfa, Second Lady (cover): The Magic Flute, Siebel (cover): Faust (NBRNZO). Concert engagements have included Beethoven's Mass in C with Auckland Choral and Grieg's Peer Gynt Suite no 2 with the APO, and an Operatunity tour.

Jarod Holt, baritone
Born in Christchurch, Jared won the Mobil Song Quest and the Karaviotis Scholarship in 2000, enabling him to study at the Royal College of Music. He later joined the Jette Parker Young Artists Programme at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden.

Jared Holt has appeared with the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, Glyndebourne Festival, Northern Sinfonia, Teatro Giuseppe Verdi and closer to home with Opera Australia, Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra, NBR New Zealand Opera, Southern Opera, Auckland Philharmonia, Christchurch City Choir and at the Adelaide and Auckland Festivals. Some highlight performances have included a concert performance of Dvořák's Dimitrij with Richard Hickox at the BBC Proms, Poulenc Songs with Malcolm Martineau, L'enfance du Christ with the Northern Sinfonia, Sharpless in Madama Butterfly in concert with the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra and Eckehard Stier and a recording on EMI Classics of the role of Melot in Tristan und Isolde with the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House Covent Garden and Antonio Pappano.
