Neither is the fine food and excellent service. Here at the Bight Café, the atmosphere is easy going, relaxed, pure and natural. Situated right on the jetty, the Bight Café has an exceptional range of local cuisine, fine wines and superb coffee. It’s also a favourite destination for passing boaties looking for a caffeine fix.

The Big Screen at the Bight Cafe

One of the popular features of the Bight Cafe is major New Zealand rugby games showing on the big screen. Come for an elegant dinner at the Foredeck restaurant from 6pm prior to the evening’s games. Or alternatively, a snack menu is available as you watch the action. No bookings will be taken at the Cafe so please be early if you wish to get a seat – especially when the big games are on. Due to guest privacy, the doors will close at final whistle.
